This month’s partnership needs no introduction- but we are here to brag on this great organization anyway! As avid animal lovers ourselves, we are so happy to have an avenue to help animals in need in our own community.
“Nevada Humane Society is a charitable, non-profit organization and
the only open-admission, no-kill shelter in the state of Nevada.We help more than 18,000 pets in need every year and have been
serving the Northern Nevada community for over 90 years.”
Through providing care and finding new homes for animals in need, they have helped save the lives of countless animals in Northern Nevada.
“In addition to the care we provide the pets in our shelters, we help thousands of pets each year through our foster program, public services, pet food assistance program, volunteer program, educational programs, community adoption events, support in times of crisis and the animal transfers we accept from animal shelters in rural areas that have more pets than they can care for. We do all this while maintaining a 95% life-saving rate and we couldn’t do it without our community partners and your support!”
